Club Statement

The Committee of the Hoylake Social Club wishes to address rumours that have recently been circulating following the resignation of our Treasurer.

Our Treasurer has stepped down from his position for personal reasons. We would like to place on record our sincere thanks for the time, effort and commitment he has given to the Club during his tenure.

It has come to the Committee’s attention that unfounded allegations are being made suggesting that money has been taken or misappropriated. We wish to state clearly and unequivocally that there is no evidence whatsoever to support these claims.

The Club’s financial records and procedures remain subject to the appropriate oversight and controls, and there is nothing to indicate any wrongdoing on the part of the former Treasurer.

The Committee strongly condemns the spreading of rumours and speculation which can cause unnecessary distress and damage to an individual’s reputation.

We ask all members to act responsibly and refrain from repeating or encouraging unsubstantiated allegations.

The committee apologises for any upset caused to the previous treasurer. The HSC considers this matter closed and will not be commenting further on baseless speculation. Our focus remains on serving our members and continuing the successful operation of the Club.

Whether it's birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, engagements, or even the more upsetting times, We can cater to your every need.
The ability to provide your own catering offers you versatility
Our larger room holds 140 people seated, and we can also provide a p.a. system for your music .
We have a large dance floor for you to kick off the shoes and dance the night away.
You'll enjoy your own bar exclusively for your guests, and toilet facilities are directly outside your door, Ensuring your party stays together.
All this in beautifully decorated surroundings for just £75 room hire.

For a more cosy gathering, we have a smaller, more intimate space that

can hold up to 50 people, ideal for family gatherings,

smaller functions,  meetings, and funerals.

Your private space will have an exclusive space incorporating your own bar.
We can provide tea and coffee, making facilities available for your convenience.

Our Activities

Every other Wednesday, we have a group of talented musicians join us, strut their stuff, and thoroughly entertain us.

If you play a musical instrument and want to join us then why not pop along and join us ? You're guaranteed a warm welcome.

If you don't play and just want a good Craic, then you could do worse than coming down from 8pm ...  as below ...  it really is a blast.

Darts

Hoylake Social Club has a strong tradition of supporting pub sports, and darts are no exception.   We currently have two darts teams. We have a ladies' team that plays  every Tuesday and a mixed team that plays every Thursday.
As with everything we do, the emphasis is on fun and meeting people.
Hannah, one of our darts captains, is always on the lookout for more players, so if you fancy getting out of the house and making new friends, then why not call her on 07561 896259.
We have two dart boards available, so if you'd prefer to get some practice in before phoning Hannah. then please feel free to call in and have a chuck.
